As a graphic designer with a passion for visual science communication, I have been dedicated to studying effective design for the sciences since 2019. With a focus on creating visually appealing and impactful designs, I bring a unique perspective to every project I work on. My expertise in visual communication allows me to create designs that not only look great but also effectively convey the intended message to the target audience. Whether working on branding, advertising, or any other design project, I strive to create a truly memorable and impactful experience for my clients.

As both the graphic designer and photographer for this unique alphabet book, I was tasked with combining a font with an image for each letter of the alphabet. The focus of the photography was on sculptures found at the Chazen Art Museum, and the goal was to create a visually stimulating book highlighting the similarities between typography and art.To achieve this, I utilized Adobe Photoshop and InDesign to design each page, carefully selecting a font that complemented the images of the sculptures.

As a photographer, I captured images of the sculptures in a way that highlighted their unique features and beauty. I used natural light and various angles to showcase the intricate details and textures of the sculptures.

The finished book was a digital version but I also made a physical, hardcover version of the book. The hardcover version was printed on high-quality paper, and the cover was designed to reflect the beauty and elegance of the sculptures featured within.

I am proud of the final product and believe that it successfully captures the beauty and diversity of the sculptures found at the Chazen Art Museum. The combination of the font and the images creates a unique and engaging experience that highlights the similarities between typography and art.
